Zanzibar
There is nothing more idyllic than the feel of soft white sand between your toes and swimming in clear turquoise waters. And that’s exactly what you’ll find on Zanzibar’s stunning coastline and spice scented streets.
Take some time to relax and unwind on the island’s white sand beaches and spend a few nights in Stone Town, the local shopping destination, where you can discover the colourful boutiques and locally made handicrafts, haggle at market stalls and learn about the island’s fascinating history.
There are some prime diving spots where you can see sights that would make even David Attenbrough jealous! With dolphins, turtles and whale sharks all frequenting the waters here you’ll have the chance to get up close and personal with some of the amazing wildlife in the area. If you’re looking for an extra splash of luxury, there are an array of chic beach properties we can organise for you, that will take your holiday relaxation to the next level.
When is best to visit zanzibar?
Similar to mainland Tanzania, the main rainy seasons lasts from March-May, where tropical downpours are not uncommon during the afternoons. In November and December, Zanzibar often has intermittent rains. We would advise against a visit to Zanzibar during these months.
